Jolene Cook

Mother of four children, two girls and two boys, Jolene has birthed both in a hospital and at home.   She has experienced a range of fully supportive and less than supportive births, and is committed to helping women have positive, supported births.  For the past decade she has been involved in the parenting community in a myriad of ways:  parenting community leader, LLL Leader, lay- labor support, birth advocate, and now as a professional doula.

Jolene is dedicated to a learning-all-the-time lifestyle and is constantly researching, reading and exploring the world.  Her love of the birth process led her to seeking out training with Birth Arts International as a Labor and Post Partum Doula.

Jolene believes that each mother knows deep down how she needs and wants to birth and parent, and sees her top priority as helping mothers to find that personal parenting style.  There is no one right way to birth or parent, and Jolene loves offering options and support to families on their parenting journey.
